FOUR charity homes caring for senior citizens in Johor received RM2,500 each from Johor Corporation Foundation (Yayasan JCorp) through its community outreach initiative.

Yayasan JCorp chairman Rozaini Mohd Sani said the initiative aimed to strengthen community well-being while making a meaningful impact.

“Caring for the elderly is about ensuring dignity, connection and continued inclusion in society.

“At Yayasan JCorp, our focus is on building sustained engagement with communities, where every initiative contributes to a larger, long-term impact,” he said in a media statement.

The recipients were Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas Nur Ehsan and Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas Anwarul Mahabbah Care Centre in Johor Baru, Pusat Jagaan Insan Emas Nur Hidayah in Simpang Renggam and Pusat Jagaan Kasih Rohani in Pasir Gudang.

Rozaini said collaborations with care centres and community partners remained key in expanding the foundation’s reach and effectiveness.

“Meaningful social impact goes beyond one-off contributions.
